Congratulations to our Spring 2016 Grant Recipients!
“Large Format Printer”, submitted by Sarah Noblett of GHS. The GEF awarded a grant to be applied towards the purchase of a large format printer to be used by art and technology students in project presentation.
“Simulations for Project Based Learning” submitted by Laura Weaver of GIS. Science and Math materials were purchased to be used as part of project-based learning in fifth grade.
“Voluntary Reading in World Languages” submitted by Tracey Salinas of GHS. The GEF will fund the purchase of novels and other reading materials written in spanish and french for use by language students during independent reading during World Language classes.
“Smart Drone” submitted by Evan McCullough, Jim Reding, J.R. Wait, and Jerod Smith . The Foundation will fund the purchase of a smart drone with video feed to view changes at the land lab, provide aerial feedback for sporting and band performances, and other uses as requested.
